Dr. Matt Januszewski has a holistic based practice in Howell Michigan. The modalities of the practice include acupuncture, herbal medicine and whole food therapy, with primary emphasis taken from a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) theory.  Spinal manipulative therapy (i.e. chiropractic) is also practiced, from a functional neurology and anatomy perspective. Dr. Januszewski received his certification in acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine (tcvm.com), after completing a 130 hour continuing education program.  His spinal manipulation training was taken at The Healing Oasis Wellness Center (thehealingoasis.com), a nationally accredited institution providing state approved programs in integrative veterinary health care modalities.  The HOWC spinal manipulation program entails 226 hours of Post-Graduate Education Certification, is state approved and nationally accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.  Dr. Januszewski received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2001.  He practiced emergency and critical care medicine and surgery as his primary career path from 2001-2010, starting in Colorado and then moving back to his home state of Michigan in 2003.   In January 2010, Dr. Januszewski was honored to receive the Clinician of the Year award from the Southeast Michigan Veterinary Medical Association.  He began his holistic based practice in January 2010 and now soley practices the above mentioned modalities.
